Brett Favre still has it

Brett Favre still has the touch.  Watching him play today is very inspiring.  17 years in the NFL and he still has the same rocket passing arm he had when he first started.

They played pretty well today against the Patriots.  Brett held his own with 1 pick but that’s a lot better than some of the other QBs that played today.  Carson Palmer had 2 picks with no TDs, Drew Brees had 2 picks with 1 TD.

Can’t say they did any better than Brett did and Brett played against the Patriots who is probably going to go to the Super Bowl.

We’ll see.  It’s week 2 and early in the season.

In other news, the Giants did spectacular against the Rams with Eli Manning throwing for 20/29 with 3 TDs and no picks.  That is AWESOME.  He’s truly showing what he is capable of and that he is really of the Manning family.

It’s been an exciting two weeks and I can’t wait for what’s in store next week.

Colt Brennan for the *(*)(#$#$#@$)! WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

Colt was 4-5, 70 yards with 1TD!!!  He won the game for the ‘Skins!  That was amazing!  He threw two 30+ yard passes late in the 4th quarter to win the game for the ‘Skins.  Colt is the real deal regardless if he was up against the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th team defense.  He did what he’s used to and that’s coming back and winning under pressure.  No matter what, he gets the job done.  This guy is going to go very far in the NFL.  He’ll be just like a Tom Brady, drafted late in the draft but is an insane player.

Brett Favre first pre-season game with the New York Jets

Brett Favre was 5 for 6 with one touchdown on the 8/16/08 game against the Washington Redskins (go Colt!!!).

Not bad for coming out of retirement, having all the media in his face these past couple of weeks.  It’s good to see he still has his touch and not only that but his receivers are in sync with him in such a short amount of time.  Time will tell though if this is the real Brett.

So far so good.  Let’s hope it stays this way.

Green Bay vs. Cin. Bengals

Monday night football is back.  Aaron Rodgers just had his first interception of 2008 lol.  We’ll see how great this guy is.  I think he’ll fail.  I hope Brett does well in NY and takes them to the SuperBowl, wins it, and then retires.  That would be an amazing scenario.

I’m rooting for Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, NY Giants, NY Jets and Washington Redskins (Colt FTW).

NFL season just weeks away

I cannot wait.  I love football and only football.  There is no other seasonal sport that gets me excited as football does.  I’m talking about the real football.  None of this soccer girly man crap.  Hear me now and understand me later.  I love football.  NFL baby!

Pre-season is here, Favre traded to the Jets, Colt Brennan doing well on his first start, Devone Bess still at Miami and looking to be on the starting roster.  Can’t wait!
