That is just ridiculous. I am already feeling it at the pump. I am being raped. Two Civics, over $300 a month. That’s just insane.

This is a great song from Jason Mraz. I found it by reading another blog talking about Hawaiians biting other people’s music. I thought hmm, haven’t heard the song yet, let me try it out. Went to YouTube, typed in the song name and singer’s name and got the video for I’m Yours. Very catchy tune and I like the lyrics.
It has substance, not this bitches and hoes bullshit. Talks about opening your heart and listening to the music and all about love.
My wife texted me a specific quote from the song which makes a lot of sense.
“No need to complicate/our time is short/this is our fate/I’m yours.”
Very touching and deep to my heart. Why? Well, it’s true. Life is short, you play hard. Those who are close to you you keep dear to your heart and you want to because of your short time on this planet. If only we could live forever… that would be boring I think. But at the same time, to think that we’re ALL going to leave our families one day, each and every single one of you, will eventually, leave your family, it saddens me to be honest but at the same time I hope we can be re-united one day.
Well, enough depressing talk for one day. I’ll leave the rest for another time. But if you haven’t heard the song yet, give it a try. Whether you hate pop music or hate this or that, just give it a shot, I know I did and I like it.
Build this massive computer behemoth for a client. It has two Veliceraptors (300GB x 10kRPM) although not in any RAID configuration.
Unit consist of:
- Motherboard: ASUS M2N
- Memory: 4GB Kingston basic
- Video Card(s): 2x ASUS 9600GT nVidia based
- CPU: 5600+ AM2
- PSU: Antec NeoPower 550W PSU
Here are some pictures:
The unit runs pretty smooth. I tried to convince these guys to go the Intel route but they didn’t want to. So, we got them the best of the best of my old favorite, AMD.
It still runs like a beast though.
Not much going on, just fixing a few units. Kind of slow actually. Waiting for work to pick up. Need to make more money this pay period.
I want to pick up a pair of Technics 1210 M5G turntables. They’re constantly sold out at Amazon. Been waiting for a while now. Someone is selling ONE for $799.99. That’s rape.
Since the renovation has been done, an extreme amount of space has opened up. I have a lot of work area but things are still quite hectic. Too many problems, too little solutions. But, as one must persevere, food has to be put on the table and clothes on our children’s backs.
If one could do nothing and be happy all day, one would, but times are rough and you gotta do what you gotta do.
I may be in a writing hiccup zone soon. Haven’t had the urge to write much.
I really blame it on WordPress and K2 not working well with each other. Too many damn bugs and no solutions.
Speaking of the devil, I posted two threads, once at the Windows Live Writer forum and another at the K2 forum. The K2 forum RARELY gets any response. I went to check the WLW forum and sure enough a moderator has checked on it for me and gave me the information needed to get the blog working again.
It was a matter of editing a CSS file and removing the img tag from a group of tags that were all bunched together and adding it’s own attributes on another line. It now works. I can wrap text around pictures. Let’s just hope this is a fix fix and not just a temp fix. I don’t plan on updating the K2 to any other version in the mean time.
This is the new build. Seasonic PSU, Intel Q6600 CPU, 2GB generic DDR2 memory, broken 6600GT (soon to be 6800GT), Western Digital HDD, Antec P182 case. It’s not done yet. I have to wait for my new video card to come in then I’ll be putting my older video card into this machine. It still rocks and can play WoW and most other games with no problems.
There is always going to be flaws in programs. No one program can be perfect, that’s a given. I thought Windows Live Writer really was the end all be all editors. I guess not. If you’ve been viewing the site with IE, you’ll notice that the pictures have been showing up kind of weird. I wanted them inline with the text and to have the text wrap around the picture. Unfortunately, it only works when viewing the website in FireFox. I could care less about FireFox. It has to work in IE. If not, then I’ll just revert back. I guess I’ll just leave the pics after the text.
Time to go out, take some photos, pick up my paycheck, get ready for Monday. Do family things. Wish I could’ve had my camera for last night’s demolition. That teaches me. No more leaving my camera at home. I will bring that bad boy with me wherever I go. Damnit. Have a good weekend peeps. Enjoy and don’t get into too much trouble. Aloha.
So for three entire hours we moved huge, heavy shelves. That was an insane workout.
I also went to a friend’s house to help him with his mom’s laptop and their new printer.
That took about 1 1/2 hours.
I’m pretty much pooped. I have to build my cousin’s computer tomorrow. I’ll definitely make sure I have pictures.
Other then that, I am bored and tired. Waiting for my wife and son to come back.
I ALSO am experiencing strep throat symptoms AGAIN. This is probably the 3rd time this year that I got strep. I started to get strep throat last year and had it roughly 4 times. I truly believe someone at my work harvests strep in their throat and just constantly re-infects me as soon as I get well again. I may end up quitting this job if I can’t get rid of this strep for good. For 23 or so years I didn’t get one case of strep but out of no where, I am continuously getting strep throat one after another. This is getting very irritating!
We’re renovating our office. We’re going to be moving all of our stuff in about two hours. It’s a much needed change. One of those, clearing out old stuff and in with the new. Going to help a friend hook up some equipment. Connect a printer and a laptop to his wifi connection. I’ll have some pics up of the new computer I’m building for my cousin.
