To drill or not to drill, that is the ultimate election year question

Do we drill ANWAR?  Yes or no?  The republicans are saying to drill, McCain, who is running for president, is saying to drill.  On the other hand, the democrats are saying, no, don’t drill.  Look at Bush and McCain, they’re evil because they want to drill into ANWAR!

I’m stumped.  On one side, drilling will HOPEFULLY lower gas prices as we’ll be getting domestic oil.  However, at the same time, I think we seriously need to consider alternatives but, I think in the MEANTIME, we should be doing whatever we can to lower the cost of gasoline as it is impacting ALL of us.

I honestly thought that the gas prices weren’t affecting me at all.  That was until I saw my gas card bill and realized that it had jumped over $200.00.  My wife and I both drive Hondas, 4-cylinder cars!  We had our gas jump by two fold!

Just the past two days, I’ve already put in $80.00 for both cars.  That is just insane.  I am feeling it.

So what do we do?  Should we drill?

Yes, drill, do it for a short term measure and gain and let’s then focus on alternative fuels.  But of course, this will never happen.  There is just too much corruption in this world and too much people that are happy to give out copious amounts of money to sway the government their way.  Sickening but it’s the truth.
